Civil War

The Civil War shaped our nation as it bathed it in blood. American military history reached its pinnacle in the years between 1861 and 1865. Few wars can compare - the Civil War is the American war. Easier to portray than other periods, the Civil war uniforms are relatively simple to put together and the tactics are a real blend of old and new. The war occurred at a point in which the early modern way of war was maturing into a new and deadlier system. Whether you wear gray or blue, reenacting this conflict will connect you to an era of tremendous manliness and undaunted courage. In our opinion, reenacting the Civil War is the foundation for soldiering.
